Chris Skillman, accidentally found a treasure trove of Beaux Arts historical films and documents at a flea market, and caught the Beaux Arts bug. After four years of careful planning, he launched his own version of Beaux Arts in Clearwater in 2009. The grand opening on Friday December 4, features 21 artists showing original work.

Trees Planted in memory of Tom and Beaux Arts
The Tampa Bay Reforestation and Environmental Effort, Inc., planted 850 bare root South Florida Slash Pine seedlings in the median of Gandy Boulevard (S.R. 694) between 4th and 9th Streets North in St. Petersburg, Florida between Tuesday January 16th and Wednesday January 17th 2007 in memory of Thomas Bruce Reese and the Beaux Arts Center.
